From plywood to playroom!

We just finished up this Montessori-style shelf made from Birch plywood and finished with a non-toxic sealant.

We designed the shelf with the thought of adding cushion to the top so it could be transitioned from toy shelf to a bench with storage in the future.

It’s the perfect addition to our little play area!

We’ve had quite a few new followers over the past couple weeks so we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves.

Coby is an accountant by day and a skilled craftsman by night! He is the heart, soul and talent behind Keyes Woodworking. If you have an idea for a project he can make it come to life!

I’m Jenna - the one who keeps making all these posts! You can find me behind the scenes working on marketing and applying stains and finishes to projects... but mostly to my fingers, legs and probably the floor too.

Miss E. - The best quality assurance tester in the NW Missouri region! There isn’t a project to come out of the shop that she hasn’t tried to climb over or eat.

Barney - official Keyes Woodworking shop dog! If he’s not on the couch or on the porch, you can find him in the shop! Now that I think of it, we may need to put a couch in the shop!
