In 2017 I turned my hobby of telling people about the benefits of plant-based eating, into a business of feeding a community. I am proud of what we built, the people we have met, the opportunities that have been given to me, and the good health to do it all!

Over the last few months, I felt a sudden and urgent need to be back in the academic classroom teaching children, and to shift my focus entirely to my kids and husband. With that need in mind, I have decided to end Morsel operations and have accepted a 4th grade teaching position at The Habersham School, beginning Fall 2023.

It has been one of the greatest joys of my life to serve you. Many of you have become my friends, and I am thankful that my job has always been my pleasure. As I make this transition, it is hard for me to muster any feeling other than gratefulness that I had this opportunity, and now the liberty to make a decision like this for my family. Next week is our last delivery, and tomorrow is the last day to submit an order for next week!

Sam and I are traveling to Arizona next week, so no deliveries on April 25th! We will be back on May 2nd (order deadline for May 2nd is April 26th).

Lastly, I’m going to do something on here I haven’t done in a long time, and show our culinary adventures outside of Morsel to hopefully inspire creativity in your homes 💚 🌱

I am truly thankful to our loyal Morsel customers, and I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours! Small business in 2022 is not for the weak, but we have had the best year yet, both personally and professionally, in large part because of our amazing customer base!
