The Makers Guild

Can you spy all of the objects we’ve hidden in these find-and-seek posters? We know the staff at MHUMC are having fun with these as The Kennickell Group installs them, and we hope that soon their young patients will enjoy them just as much!

Each custom poster depicts a different scene from around Savannah, corresponding to the theme of the murals we’ve designed for each floor. We’ve really come to appreciate the dedication of the Memorial Health crew to do everything they can to make their patients’ experience better and make their children’s hospital buildings joyous spaces for their staff too 🤘

Big thanks to our ranger friends at Skidaway Island State Park for bringing us into their Junior Ranger Camp Program. We had the delight of creating a mural with the junior rangers over 6 weeks of camp. Each ranger received an animal from our local low country environment to paint and add to the piece. The finished mural will remain up at the park’s Interpretive center where you can check out painted and living corn snakes alike as well as many other critters!

The Marsh Mural is complete! This mural features flora and fauna that is local to coastal Georgia including Swamp Rose Mallow, Great Blue Heron, Red
Drum fish, and Loggerhead sea turtle. And a nod to our local military base with elements from the Fort Stewart entrance.
The best part? Seeing and hearing about the joy it brought to the distribution center workers. A big thanks to Beautify Earth for selecting and working with us!

My wish for our nation is for more available support to our education system. Put your voice to pen & add your own thoughts to the wall!

Tara Garrigan and I have been up to a few things around town including creating this wishing wall for the Davenport House Museum working with Made By Us & in collaboration with one of our local middle school student councils! If you can’t make it today come by when you can. The wall will remain up for some days and markers are available 💫 -Shaye 💖

Sidewalk Arts was a blast!🐝✨

We love how this event brings the whole community out to play. This year The Makers Guild took on a bee theme, each of us creating our own little world inside one big collective piece. Tiny scenes & big teamwork energy.
