1 Big Boost

Update from last December '19 - Feb 15, 2020.

In Butwal and Tansen we supported the presentation to many schools on Climate Reality: slide shows, discussions, Q&A, a 170-student rally in town, a ' Butwal Clean, Butwal Green' project and the purchase and planting of 170 flowering bushes, trees and ground cover.

Also supported a local, privately run orphanage of 230 children ages 7-17. We donated two treadle sewing machines, locally purchased and top industrial quality with some basic notions, scissors etc so the older ones can learn a profession to get employment once they reach 18.

A $100 donation to a group in Tansen that promotes teaching girls and boys about the truth and normalcy of menstrual periods and how to make their own, and maintain hygienically, cloth mentrual pads. GREAT project!
