Cannonball shoulders
Building big strong shoulders has multiple benefits. One of which is, aesthetically this gives off a look of “above average strength and fitness”. Big shoulders are a staple of the Greek God physique (just look at the shoulders on those statues)!
Strong healthy shoulders also help prevent injuries and help you with strength for a host of activities both in and out of the gym.
Here’s my recipe for cannonball looking shoulders:
1) get lean. Want your shoulders to pop? Get down to lower body fat levels. This has more to do with what you do in the kitchen than in the gym.
2) work on your triceps. While this may not seem directly related having big strong shoulders, it does. Building muscle in your tris will help accentuate the shoulders and many tricep workouts work on your shoulders as well.
3) focus on key lifts and build up to big weight. Want big shoulders? Don’t try to do 100 reps of flys with 10 pound dumbbells. Work on being able to do heavy standing overhead presses. I love reverse pyramid style lifts here. Warm up. Then do a weight you can get 4-6 clean reps on (as heavy as possible, this should be your heaviest set). Decrease weight by 10% and rest 2-3 min, then try to get 6-8 reps. Decrease weight again by another 10% and rest 2-3 min, then try to get 8-12 reps.

Traditions.
So many of them revolve around food. My dad used to take my little brother and I to (if you know, you know) on the way to the as kids. Starting that tradition today with MY son ❤️
They are known for their amazing log cabin construction with massive round beams, huge portions, and cinnamon rolls the size of your head.
and an overall healthy lifestyle allows for being able to still enjoy some of these fun food based traditions without “guilt”.
Celebrating my wife birthday this week. Barely tracking food at all. Just enjoying the moments. Knowing full well I’ll get back on track later this week.
Life is short. Just make sure you stay healthy enough to enjoy it.
PS don’t worry. Baby Jacks didn’t get any of the cinnamon roll but he sure wanted some!
