What is my favorite tutoring activity? There are SO many! But one of my favorites is this game, 1-2 Nim, from Math for Love. Simple to play, lots of possibilities for mathematical exploration and variations!

Just arrived from Math for Love, Multiplication by Heart❣️ There is so much more to multiplication than memorizing answers and algorithms. Seeing kids start to really understand what’s happening and make connections is like making these discoveries anew. 🤩 So excited to use these with students!
