How often should you clean your ducts?
The answer to this question is not cut and dry. If you are not sure when to clean your air ducts, it is best to consult with a professional.
Air Duct Cleaning
In order to keep your home or office healthy, it is important that you have a routine for cleaning your AC or heating system's air ducts. This can be done in two ways - by spraying them with a chemical solution and then using a vacuum cleaner on the inside of the duct, or by using an industrial-strength vacuum cleaner with a long hose and nozzle that can reach into the duct.
The best time to clean your air ducts is once every 6-12 months depending on how often they are used and their condition.
