Welcome to RailSpur, a cultural hub in the heart of Pioneer Square.

At the , the exhibition New Nordic: Cuisine, Aesthetics, and Place explores the manifesto that reshaped modern dining. Calling for food rooted in local landscapes, guided by seasonality, sustainability, and a deep respect for cultural identity. It’s a movement that extends beyond the plate, influencing design, craft, and how we understand our relationship to place.

Those ideas feel naturally at home at where design, materials, and hospitality are grounded in reverence for the natural world and the environment that shapes it.

Inspired by the exhibition, Swedish-born Chef Conny Andersson carries that philosophy from gallery to the Ballard Farmers Market, sourcing what the PNW offers at the edge of spring, and back to the fire at

The result is Vårkanten — a limited, multi-course dinning collaboration between museum and kitchen. A shared expression of land, season, and story.

For a limited time, complimentary Museum passes are available at the Populus front desk so you can experience the exhibition before taking your seat.
