We’re officially kicking off our 21st harvest here in Maltby. In total, we’re going to crush 35 tons of Red Mountain Merlot, StoneTree Malbec, Merlot, Syrah, and Viognier today. Let’s do this! 🍇

Our Story
Guardian Cellars started with two new French oak barrels, a love of chemistry and an obsession with the vines. Winemaker Jerry Riener and his wife, Jennifer, founded Guardian Cellars in 2003 with a dedication to creating handcrafted wines from the finest vineyards in the state, and that attention to detail hasn't diminished. Between Guardian and Newsprint Jerry and Jennifer make more than a dozen wines - a nice mix of Bordeaux-style blends and straight varietals. Come visit us in Woodinville’s Hollywood District or in Maltby’s Vault complex.
