Go Blue Lightning, GO!
Even his mama can’t keep up with Cozy Pines Blue Lightning! A Blue Roan Pinto Gypsy Vanner C**t at 4 days old.

Sapphire & her 2 day old Blue Roan Tobiano c**t came home from the Vet Reproduction center today. He is a big boy & happy to explore, ignoring a nervous mother’s call for him to come back to her, where I was holding her. Usually the foals don’t like to leave their mom’s side, especially when she is calling for them.

Yesterday I brought home Midnight Reign & her new c**t "Cozy Pines Midnight Thunder" from the Veterinarian Foaling facility. Thunder is by my young stallion Cozy Pines Pandemonium (Panda). Panda is a multiple halter winner and will be starting his under saddle training this year and we plan on showing him in Dressage/Western Dressage. Since we already have a stallion, Thunder will be looking for a 5 star home. He could go with Reign for a 2-in-1, or Reign bred back for a 3-in-1 package.
In addition to being a multiple halter winner in Gypsy Vanner shows as well as in Open Breed Shows, Cozy Pines Pandemonium comes from a successful show pedigree. Panda's dam Sapphire, has won classes in English, Western & Ranch at open breed shows in Florida, after several years as a stay at home mom with previous owners. She is a full sister to Cozy Pines Princess Tango, a very successful show horse at Gypsy Vanner shows earning multiple halter wins/Grand & Reserve Halter Championships, Reserve National Championship in WTC Trail & Gypsy Vanner Congress highpoint Championship. At breed shows she has won High point championships in Western, Ranch & English as well as in Western , Dressage. Sapphire & Tango's sire is MnM Princely Inheritance (Bodee) a World Champion, Supreme Halter champion and GVHS #1 in the nation shown as an Amateur Highpoint (5th in Open) for Gypsy Vanners. Panda's paternal side goes back to World Champion St. Clarins by The Business/The Boss.
So, Cozy Pines Midnight Thunder was bred to be a show horse, but would also be happy as a pretty & friendly gelding doing what ever you want him to. We expect him to be the same height as his parents & grand parents of 15-15.1h.

Today we had friends bring their grandsons & a neighbor bring their daughter over for cocoa & cookies and to ride horses. It was a great time and I love nothing more than sharing my passion of horses with people. Tango and her full sister Sapphire, represented the Gypsy Vanner breed well being angels to the whole family of beginners, as usual. I am always proud of these horses. You can not do this with a lot of horses.

Merry Christmas everyone!
This was created with AI by someone in a FB group I belong to. They used my profile picture from a Western Dressage show this last Memorial Day weekend near Daytona Beach (Ironically it was 97 and really windy, it felt like an air fryer). This is my mare Cozy Pines Princess Tango, you can see her show number on the bridle, just below her ears. But other than the show number, the picture looks very realistic for a horseback ride in Florida, right?

Our Western Dressage show scheduled for this last weekend was cancelled due to the EHV outbreak. But I wanted to share, that My horse, Cozy Pines Princess Tango and I earned the Western Dressage Association of America (WDAA) Register of Merit in our first year showing Western Dressage! It was also our first-year learning Dressage, I have never ridden English, so there was a lot to learn. WDAA tracks show results and gives points based on your Western Dressage Ridden Test Scores, for the level you are competing in. Tango and I have had some really good test scores, so we accumulated the points in less than a year.
A special Thank You to my trainer Sheri L Nall, who has taught me about Western Dressage this year. Sheri offers riding lessons in Western or Classical Dressage, as well as Western & English Pleasure and Ranch riding on Gypsy Vanner horses at my barn Dreamy Oaks Ranch. Please reach out if you would like to learn more or join us at Western Dressage shows, Gypsy Vanner shows or an occasional open breed pleasure show. Sheri has accumulated a large group of Amateur students; we have a great time going to shows together!

This past weekend we attended the Winning Ways with Western Dressage, Show and Grow program. A show and multi day clinic afterwards. Saturday was a show with the famous Lynn Palm of Palm Equestrian Academy as the Judge. Tango and I scored a 75.75 in our Intro test 4, winning the class and the Amateur Highpoint Championship! I also won the class for Test 2 and Sheri L Nall rode Tango in the next level up, Basic Test 4 and she won 1st place as well.
Then the next two days were classroom evaluation reviews with Lynn reviewing our strengths and weaknesses and how to improve. Then we had riding instruction with Lynn afterwards. This was my fourth semi-annual clinic with Lynn, she adds a lot of value to Tango and my training and Sheri and I get lots of feedback on how to do better and what to focus on next. Thank you Lynn, I love your clinics, I always walk away excited to move forward! Lynn repeatedly complements Tango for trying hard and being such a pretty mover, that really makes me happy. Thank you, Sheri, for all the work you put into Tango and to be able continue improving! Sheri offers riding lessons on our Gypsy Vanners here in Summerfield, FL. If you are interested in learning to ride, please let us know.
