PTSD estrogen patch scenario Number 2.

That same friend I sent patches to in her hour of need has just repaid the favor by sending me some in my hour of need (read: panic)

True friends swap estradiol patches by courier, in back alleys, secret places, and under trench coats while wearing sunglasses. 🤫 🕵️‍♀️

When our healthcare (and insurance!) systems start doing right by women, I won’t have to make Batman signals to all pharmacies and friends within a 1,000 mile radius. I mean, c’mon.

And in case you’re wondering, my insurance denied me refills because it was 1 week “too soon”. And all my efforts to explain that the shortage has caused (generic) suppliers to make crappy patches that don’t stick and fall off after showers prompting more than 2 patches a week fell on deaf ears. I was relentless, ragey, and somewhat rude (sorry; not sorry) when I couldn’t get answers.

I finally drove to Edmonds to secure the one box I could get.

It’s life or death out there ladies. Fight for what you need and give unto others as they have given to you.

Thanks Sue. I owe you one. Or some. Again. 😉

BUCKET LIST # 2 -
You’ve all heard me talk about my 50th year bucket list items. So far, I’ve completed bucket list number one. Tomorrow I get to do bucket list number TWO!!
🎵 >> I’m headed to Red Rocks!!!

06/24/2026

I was living my best independent life in my 20’s, raising babies in my 30’s, there was renewed vigor in my 40’s, and I’m feeling refinement as I move into my 50’s.
I’ve changed so much along the way; as one should. Growth comes with bumps, but it also comes with beauty.

It’s crazy when you look down the line and wonder what it will be like or who you will have become. Life’s got far more experiences for me to even imagine. And growth, no doubt. And wild adventures for sure.

Can’t wait to look back when I get there and see how I’ve changed and become.

For some reason, I see myself with pink hair somewhere in the mix. Because why not? You only live once.
