We have a new travel booster in the house! I can't wait to try it out.
Don't forget to travel with seats for your children. Even booster aged kids need to have their seat safely transported, ideally bringing it into the cabin and storing it on board. That way it arrives, and arrives undamaged. If you can't fit it on board as it is, try removing the back of the booster (if possible) and putting it in the suitcase or overhead bin, and put the bottom of the booster somewhere else separate so they fit. If that won't work either, box the booster and check it, and have a back up plan in mind (where is the nearest store that will sell a booster at your destination?) just in case baggage handlers don't help it get to you at the other end.
If you have a trusted seat waiting for you, and you trust that person WILL be there to get you (weather, flight diversions, or even business meetings won't keep them away) then by the time a child is booster ready and sized, you could travel with nothing at all.
Certainly, if you're going someplace where you won't be using a car at all (NYC, Disney, London, etc.) now's the time when you can start not worrying about a seat at all for your trip.
