The Best Part of Real Estate Isn’t the Transaction. It’s the Relationships.

A few weeks ago, I received a call from a fellow Realtor®, Rob Scarber, whom I had never met before.

He was helping a client outside his typical service area and wanted insight into the activity, buyer interest, and preparation strategy behind my Van De Vanter listing in Kent’s Scenic Hill neighborhood. His client was considering a similar approach and wanted to see firsthand the work that helped our sellers achieve a quick and successful sale.

I was happy to share what we learned.

That’s one of the things I love most about this business. Success isn’t built in isolation. It’s built through relationships. Relationships with clients. Relationships with neighbors. Relationships with contractors, lenders, and fellow Realtors®. When we share knowledge, experiences, and ideas, everyone benefits.

A few days ago, I had the opportunity to finally meet Rob in person. We spent time discussing the return on investment of various home improvement projects and the strategies that help sellers maximize their equity.

As I was leaving, he surprised me with this thoughtful gift and handwritten note. An unexpected gesture that meant a great deal. To top it off, he also took the time to call my Designated Broker and share kind words about our conversation and the help I provided.

Recognition is always appreciated.

What means even more is knowing that the insight and guidance I provide is valued not only by my clients, but by my colleagues as well.

Real estate is a people business. The relationships you build and the way you show up for others often come back in ways you never expect.

Thank you, Rob.

This week was a reality check.

I spoke with 5 investors. All looking for sellers willing to take 40–50% below market value to avoid updates.

I told them, I’m not the agent for you.

My job is not to help you find a great deal at the expense of my seller. My job is to help sellers maximize the value of their home and get top dollar.

With a background in project management, home renovation, and design, I guide my sellers through:

• Smart updates that drive ROI
• Contractor coordination and ex*****on
• Design choices that attract today’s buyers
• Marketing that creates demand, and attracts buyers

What I found most interesting is these investors said they rarely meet agents who take this approach. Most agents they work with just facilite a quick deal with them. One investor said he gets about 50-60 deals a year from agents like this.

Thats 50-60 sellers who lost about 40-50% of their homes true value.

If you’re thinking about selling, you have two paths:
• Take a discount for convenience
• Or build a plan to capture your full equity

I help you take the second path. If you don’t have the money for the updates I have a solution for that too.

Reach out if you want a clear strategy before you make a decision.
