Not everyone is meant to go where you're going, and that's okay. As you elevate in your career and life, something subtle starts to happen: your circles shift. Some people will grow with you, but others were only meant for a season. Here's the truth, something most people don't say out loud: growth creates distance, not because you've changed for the worse, but because your mindset, standards, and priorities have evolved. Don't shrink to stay connected; don't dim your vision to make others comfortable. Honor the season they played in your life, but give yourself permission to move forward without guilt, because elevation requires alignment, and not everyone is meant for your next level. If this connects with you, you're not losing people; you're finding your path. Remember, talent opens the door, and awareness moves your career forward.
Life's simple, you make choices and you don’t look back.
Never hold on to people in your life who disrespect you, lie to you, or knock you down instead of building you up. Growth isn't just about who you let in it's also about who you let go of. Distancing yourself from those who bring you down isn't giving up it's choosing yourself over those who don't choose you back. Never let anyone make you feel like you deserve to be disrespected. You walk away from those who drain you, diminish you, and make you feel small; that's not weakness, it's strength and self-respect. Not everyone deserves a seat at your table, not everyone deserves access to your time, energy, or your dreams. Make room only for the people who celebrate you, lift you up, and make you feel valued protect your inner peace and choose your circle wisely.
If you decide to be an entrepreneur, the first thing you have to understand is that you're picking, literally, one of the hardest, the absolute hardest paths you could possibly pick in your life. And what you can expect is a painful life of waking up and getting your butt beat day after day after day, with some wins in between. That's really the reality of an entrepreneur: a tremendous amount of loneliness, a lot of getting your butt beat, a lot of questioning yourself, a lot of doubt, a lot of pain, a lot of mistakes, and a lot of expensive mistakes. All your friends and family are going to think you're crazy, or do you wrong with everyone you've ever known telling you that you need to grow up and get a real job, so really level set your expectations. And then when you win, they're like, 'I always believed in you,' when you know they never did. You're going to move from friend to friend because friends are going to portray you. Every time you level up, your current friend group is going to hate on you. There's a devil at every level. And the friends that stop talking to you are going to say that you forgot about them because you became so successful. 'Oh, you need to remember where you came from' That's another one. 'Oh, you're too good for us now.' That is going to happen over and over again.
