25 years ago we first released King of Dragon Pass as a boxed CD, a challenging proposition for an indie developer. It was a ground-breaking combination of narrative and strategy games, bringing the mythic world of Glorantha (best known from the RuneQuest TTRPG) to life on a computer screen.

We updated the game for digital distribution and added more stories. We had help from HeroCraft bringing the game to Android and Windows.

We’re always pleased to hear that the game has inspired players to become game designers or learn more about Greg Stafford’s world of Glorantha. Or that our VoiceOver support let a blind player feel like an equal member of the game community for the first time.
