Bad Optics

2025 was BIG YEAR. Many things happened. We unleashed a soft apocalypse in the form of our record THE BOUNDED WORLD, and we're proud as hell of it (if you haven't yet, put down your Zootopia fanfic and give it a spin; we could really use your $0.0012). We made a very good music video for the song FALLING FROM HIGH PLACES. We played a lot of shows and met a lot of friends. We hit the road again in spring and got deathly ill. Josh was OZZY.

After a lot of hemming and hawing and all that, we also said goodbye to our bassist, Steph. That's a bit of a sad one, eh? But it's all love, and she'll always have a place with us on our stage and in our hearts. We also officially welcomed our new #1 bassboy, Linden! We're excited to keep the commerce flowing and making many interesting noises together.

We've got some BIG THINGS COMING in 2026. New music of course, but we'll be expanding the Bad Optics Outreach Program™ to new territories soon. We look forward to weathering the bursting of the AI bubble and the subsequent global recession with you. Thanks for sticking with us. We love you.
