Come and enjoy our annual FESTA JUNINA on Saturday, June 1st from 5-11pm at Seattle Amistad School at 1501 10TH AVE E, SEATTLE, WA 98102. This family-friendly festival features live forró by Foleada, quadrilha (Brazilian square dancing) led by Daniel Santos of Bahia-in-M, games for kids, and DJ Tomás spinning his best songs during band breaks. You’ll also find delicious Brazilian food by Brazuca Catering, including savory steak sandwiches, feijão tropeiro (beans, toasted manioc flour, and dried pork), bolo de pote (cake in a jar) with tropical flavors like coconut and passion fruit, and brigadeiros (artisan chocolates). The no-host bar will serve soda, and beer for 21+.

We’re excited to hold festival in a beautiful new indoor/outdoor venue this year, the Seattle Amistad School. The band and dancing will be in the large gym, and the food and drinks will be just outside, in the spacious breezeway. And of course, we’ll have a decorated photo booth, so you can take pics of yourself and your favorite people, Festa Junina style. Bring the whole family and enjoy a happy, fun-filled festival!🎉
