Artist Lin-Lin Mollitor

Lin-Lin Mao Mollitor is a Chinese-American artist based in Seattle whose work explores the interconnectedness of living beings and humanity’s relationship with the natural world. Born in Taiwan and raised in the United States, she grew up making with her hands—learning paper folding, knitting, crocheting, and drawing from an early age. Working across painting, craft, and installation, her practice reflects on empathy, perception, and the nature of existence. She has been a member artist since May 2024.

I became a eight years ago when I realized that drawing eyes felt strikingly similar to drawing a human eye. Chain-link fencing over landscape in the exhibition symbolize captivity and confinement, and reminds us of the systems humans use to control other living beings, all .
