this project was a special one 🥹

we initially went out for an interior paint color consult to select beautiful new paint colors for our client’s home 🏡

once the painting was done a few months later, we came back out to give their dining room furnishings a welcomed refresh 🪑🪴 a new table, chairs, rug, and bookshelf came together beautifully with their new chandelier 💓

we don’t take on many design projects (paint consults keep us pretty busy 🫶🏻), but this one was such a joy to be a part of!

june signifies a lot of change for a short amount of time; the start of summer, the end of school, time marked by vacations, relaxed afternoons, answer the emails later, drive with the windows down.

cherry reds and dusty rose offer an energy boost in unexpected ways, reminding us of lifeguards, watermelon, and picnic tables 🍉 contrasting and cooler shades of light gray keep us humble and present (this is the northwest, after all ☁️) chocolatey browns and sage greens keep us coming back for more🏕️ and finally, our days end with amber sunsets and bright white stars in the night sky 🌌

we’ve been working on something really special and vulnerable and color-centric over the last few weeks (okay, months😅) that we are gearing up to share with you🥰

this is our way of making it real and holding ourselves accountable to 👏🏻 actually 👏🏻 do 👏🏻 the 👏🏻 damn 👏🏻 thing 👏🏻

goodbye gray! 👋🏻

our client’s design goals for her home’s exterior repaint were simple:

1.) must work with, rather than against, the pink-toned brick
2.) no 👏🏻 more 👏🏻 gray 👏🏻

this warm terracotta color was the perfect way to go❣️
