Even though we didn’t end up winning it all, I am so grateful to everyone that took a moment to vote for us in Junebug’s Choice Awards!!!

This elopement was so special to me because it came from my offer to support LGBTQ couples who wanted to speed up marriage plans after the election that year. In a moment of feeling so helpless, it was the only good I could think to do - and that’s how I met Zoie & Clarissa and even got this opportunity in the first place.

I wanted to share this as a reminder to find a way to harness your special talents/gifts/calling in this world and give it back to people. Even though it may feel like an insignificant contribution to solving the very serious problems we face as a society, it really does make you feel hope that we can all build a better future together if we lead with love and generosity within our communities.
