Here's a simple action that yields tremendous physical results... Pick up to three movements a day which you would like to work on. Set a timer on your phone (my favorite app is Timer+) for a specific amount of time and don't go to sleep until the timer reads 0:00 for the day. You will see the most effective results from spacing out time spent in each movement throughout the day (don't make it into a workout and get it finished all in one go). The trick!? You have to do it everyday.

Just another reminder that I have an awesome job: About three weeks ago Joe came to me wanting to become stronger and more resilient. He went on to tell me in the initial consultation that he hurt his back and shoulder in an accident and was never really comfortable lifting anything from the ground, even his 8 month old boy. In his words he felt 'brittle'. Now Joe is not an out of shape guy, neither is he weak. He came to me because he didn't accept this way of feeling, and neither did I. Within this short amount of time we have gone from simple mobility and stability exercises to progressive deadlifts with weight (something he never thought he could to and feel great because of it). Tonight we worked on olympic ring inversions (huge step for someone with bad shoulders) and turkish get-ups. After learning the moves and some specific stability exercises Joe performed the lifts perfectly! This is a BIG WIN in my book! He was so proud of himself and so am I, way to go Joe!
It's all about the alignment!
