Christmas has come and gone, but I wanted to share the two designs I made this year.

2024 was my year for travel: Austin, Texas; Paris; Mallorca; Copenhagen; Cancun; Mystic, Connecticut; Maine and Lake George. It was also a year to break my right wrist. So there have been significant disruptions to my usual glass work production.

Now that I am not traveling as much and my wrist is healed, I am getting back into my studio and creating. Laura and I worked together to change our pantry doors in our kitchen from functional to beautiful. We both love the fossil Vitra process, so we included four different kinds of leaves from our yard on each top panel: ginko, white oak, maple and fern. We then used reeded glass for the center panels. We are very pleased with the results!

I’ve been having fun going through all my bits of glass- some pieces I made and some I got from my friend who sold me her studio. It’s like a puzzle but I get to pick the pieces and where they go!
