A few of the Intro to Health Careers final projects. They had to choose a medical career and decorate a cereal box with the required information. They did great!

Our last lesson of the year is my favorite; careers in Radiology and the Skeletal System. Students had to label common bones, sketch a fracture, include directional terms and also include a person/cartoon. The students did great!!💀🩻

The Intro to Health Careers class learned about a career in Phlebotomy and a Medical Lab tech. They practiced working with pipettes and also drawing blood

Introduction to Health Careers
Going to the fire station is one of my favorite visits. Anthony talks about different careers available and puts the kids to work learning about different equipment.

The Human Body Systems class is learning about joints and cartilage. The kids really enjoyed the cow elbow dissections. They were able to compare a cows elbow to a humans anatomy.
