Kodiak Gas Services, a provider of energy infrastructure, and Baker Hughes, an energy technology company, have announced a multi-year strategic agreement under which Baker Hughes will provide power generation solutions to support Kodiak’s “expanding energy infrastructure initiatives,” including behind-the-meter power for data centers.

Bloom Energy, a company deploying solid oxide fuel cells, and Brookfield, recently announced the expansion of their strategic partnership, as Brookfield increases its framework to finance power projects for AI infrastructure. Previously announced as $5 billion, Brookfield will finance up to $25 billion worth, increasing funding to grow the fuel cell partnership globally.

Arizona Public Service has announced its plans to convert two units at its Cholla Power Plant in Joseph City, Navajo County, AZ, to natural gas, with operations expected to begin in 2029. APS says that transitioning to natural gas generation at this facility would add about 380 megawatts (MW) of capacity.
