I get a lot of clients asking if they should continue with my services through winter or start back up when the weather warms up?
Definitely keep your services all year.
When pools turn green it can stain your pool walls and floor. Also green to cleans can take from 7 days to 2 weeks or longer. During that time your pumps break or leak which will also set you back with opening your pool. It's always better to have your pumps working through the cycles, that way if there is a problem I catch it right away.
I aim to keep my prices low. To keep my services throughout the year actually saves you money and frustration. Green to cleans end up costing more than my already low monthly fee and take time to do correctly. During that time your pool is out of commission. Sticks, debris and unfortunately critters fall in and tear liners or more havoc where the pool would need to be drained and refilled. That adds more time to get the salt or chemicals back to normal levels.
