Ian's passion for salmon fishing began in Swan Bay, Rogers City, Michigan, where he honed his skills in the world of meat rigs.

Drawing from his experiences on Lake Huron, he brought his expertise to Lake Michigan, where he quickly became an invaluable member of our crew after relocating to South Haven. Ian’s dedication to the craft extends beyond fishing—he spends much of his free time custom painting and tying his own meat rigs, flashers, and flies.

A true enthusiast, he lives and breathes meat fishing and is always eager to share his in-depth knowledge, often engaging in long conversations about Rhys heads.
