Mezzo Poodles

Valkyrie has officially joined the ranks of River Poodle, with her first trip to the Guadalupe River in the books. We had a feeling she would be a happy girl at the river with how obsessed she is with the water bowl and the kiddie pool we have for them. She did so good. She even jumped in a couple times. She’s definitely a sporty little girl ready for adventure. It’s such a treat to watch Allie x Uno’s little girl grow into such a confident young pup.

Teddy (Zephyr from Liminal Litter) is here boarding this weekend and we have thrown in some training while he is here. Look at him being the best boy.

Ellie clocked in today… and honestly, she crushed it.

She tagged along to help with a client session, showed off her good brain, her patience, and her “I totally know what I’m doing” energy. She’s one of those dogs who just gets it and loves being part of the process.

But the best part?
Getting paid.

Her reward was a full sniff walk, and if you know, you know. Nose down, tail doing its thing, taking in every single scent like it’s the most important investigation of the day. No rush, no pressure… just being a dog.

This is something we really value for our dogs. They don’t just train, they get to decompress, explore, and enjoy the world in a way that actually fulfills them.

Work hard. Sniff harder. 🐾

Meet Eloise
Mezzo Twice The Charm

It truly could not be a better description of her personality.

Playful, curious, and deeply people-focused, Eloise is the kind of dog who wants to be part of everything you’re doing. She balances adventure and calm beautifully, always ready to explore but just as happy settling in close.

She has a steady, thoughtful nature paired with a natural curiosity that makes her fun to live with and easy to love. Eloise represents so much of what we value in our program and the direction we’re headed.

We’re finishing up her health testing and are excited for what’s ahead. If all continues to go as planned, we’re hoping to welcome a beautiful litter of black puppies later this summer or fall.

Zephyr found his family

There is something so bittersweet about watching the last puppy go. You pour your heart into these babies from the very beginning, and then one day you’re handing them over knowing it’s exactly right… and still feeling all the feelings.

Zephyr was our pick male, full of confidence and charm, and he is going to be so loved. That is always the goal.

The house feels a little quieter today, but not for long. We kept back two girls from this litter for our program, Valkyrie, formerly Cinder, and Reverie. Two nearly identical little brown babies who are already starting to show us who they are. We are so excited to watch them grow and see what their futures hold.

Happy Birthday, Allie!

We celebrated our girl this weekend with a birthday brunch followed by a very important trip to the pet store to pick out her own dog birthday cake and treats. Safe to say she fully understood the assignment and loved every minute of being spoiled.

She brings so much joy, personality, and sweetness into our lives every single day, and we’re so lucky she’s ours. Happy birthday to the best brunch date and treat connoisseur around.

Meet Zephyr.

Zephyr was our pick male of the litter, and anyone who has spent time with him understands why. He has the temperament, structure, and presence we hoped for when this litter was planned. He is confident without being pushy, thoughtful, affectionate, and very people focused.

He is the kind of puppy who naturally checks in, settles easily, and just wants to be part of whatever you are doing. Sweet, playful, and steady, Zephyr has been such a joy to raise and watch grow.

He will be 12 weeks old on Sunday, and while we truly expected him to be one of the first to leave, sometimes the right puppy simply waits for the right family. We believe that is exactly what he is doing.

Tractor Supply run with these three yesterday and they did so well.

10 weeks old and already putting in the socialization reps. New smells. Rolling carts. Boots. Concrete floors. Friendly strangers.

Short outing. Positive exposure. Lots of check-ins. Home before anyone got overtired.

This is how we build confident puppies. Calm, steady, thoughtful experiences in the real world.

He has such a happy, steady personality. He plays hard, snuggles harder, and settles beautifully. He is the kind of puppy who fits in almost anywhere. Active home, family home, first time poodle people, or seasoned dog lovers.

He is expected to be around 30 pounds full grown, which is such a great size. Big enough to do life with you. Small enough to travel easily.
