This has been quite a journey… Never in 1 million years did I understand what it would take to try to patent something. To show proof of concept. To start from just an idea to something that will change how packages and groceries are delivered to your home. I remember sitting in a room with a phenomenal home designer Holmes Drafting Services. We were creating new homes for a smart development when it came to me. Why don’t we create a portal where packages can be delivered safely and we no longer have to worry about porch Pirates 🏴‍☠️… I remember grabbing his pen and drawing it out on the set of his plans. Then Nick went to work and had it for me within days. From pen to paper, to concept, to 3-D design… To patent attorney, to the patent office… to the board room of DR HORTON. The largest builder in the United States. The journey still isn’t done…in fact it’s still in the infancy. STAY TUNED.
