The Joy Oquendo Foundation is proud to recognize Heaven Britton, a 2026–2027 Scholarship Recipient and graduate of Shoemaker High School!
Heaven has excelled both academically and athletically throughout her high school career. As a 3-year varsity athlete in cross country and basketball, she has demonstrated dedication, resilience, and leadership on and off the court.

🏀 School Record Holder for Most Three-Pointers Made in a Single Game
🏀 Central Texas All-Star Game Participant (Senior Year)
This fall, Heaven will continue her academic and athletic journey at Sul Ross State University, where she will play collegiate basketball while pursuing a degree in Kinesiology.
Heaven’s hard work, determination, and commitment to excellence have opened the door to an exciting future. We are honored to support her educational journey and cannot wait to see all she accomplishes at the collegiate level.
