He is 4 weeks post FHO surgery & recovering very well. He’s having a fun spring break playing with some new furry friends. He is dog, cat & kid friendly. Loves being outside lounging in the sun. Very friendly with humans, loves to snuggle & nap on couch. Basically, the perfect addition to any family.

🐾 One week post surgery update for Colby Jack 🧀

It’s been 1 week since CJ had surgery and he’s done a lot of resting and healing. Still happy using his 3 legs to get around but he is using his 4th to squat when going potty which is progress. Baby steps! (Video in comments).

Watch out for 2 week update… and don’t forget CJ will be up for adoption once he’s healed & cleared so reach out if interested!

‼️ Colby Jack needs your help ‼️

CJ was dumped at a mailbox off a busy road and sat there for a MONTH before someone finally helped him. Likely hit by a car - he has an old back right leg fracture that healed over poorly and is causing him discomfort daily.

He's been with a foster for over a week, putting on some much needed weight and decompressing. Unable to bear weight fully or do the things he loves... At this point he can't even go for a small walk or get up easily from a lying position.

⭐ But a fresh start is on the horizon ⭐

Artimus Rescue Foundation - ARF got to work… We have FHO surgery lined up for next week as well as a committed foster who will help him until adopted 🎉 But we need funds…

ARF needs to raise $1,500 to cover CJ’s surgery, heart worm meds and potential post op expenses that often arise. Donations are needed & greatly appreciated 🙏🏻

Rocket made it through a tough 3 hour surgery yesterday on both legs. HUGE thank you to Houston Mobile Veterinary Surgery for such an amazing job and for taking such great care of our little man! He’s already starting to put some weight on them, which is a great sign.
