100% Truth

People see a truck going down the highway…
they don’t see the birthdays missed…
the cold meals…
the nights parked alone hundreds of miles from home.

Seventy hours a week living in a box on wheels isn’t easy.
But drivers keep showing up because bills don’t stop…
families still need fed…
and somebody has to keep this country moving.

A lot of truckers sacrifice comfort so the people they love never have to struggle the same way they did.

That’s the part of trucking most people will never understand.

For real!

Houston can suck. But it’s no Atlanta or Dallas. I haven’t tried NYC. Which city do you think is the WoRST to drive through?

I remember being a new driver and so frustrated because I just couldn’t get it done like my partner who had 15+ years on me in a semi…. Now 7 years later I don’t even have a melt down or panic attack…. I guess the old adage about practice is right!

Nothing drives experienced drivers crazier than watching a new driver spend 45 minutes destroying a wide-open parking spot 😂

Pull-ups.
Jackknifed at 90 degrees.
Blocking the fuel island.
Getting out 17 times like the trailer magically moved itself.

Meanwhile the old-school driver next to him backs it in one smooth motion while drinking coffee with one hand.

Backing is where trucking gets real.
Anybody can hold the steering wheel going forward… parking is what separates drivers from steering wheel holders.

A few weeks ago a driver took out a suicidal whitetail down between Chester & Mountainburg…. Any questions as to if the deer bar will hold up at 70 mph was answered….. the fiberglass is still intact…. More so than the deer….

If you have all you need to do your 9-5, thank a trucker driving all night.
