Pure joy.

There’s are only a few moments in life when the collective whole of a group will look together without instruction, at a single moment, with all the joy a human heart can muster.

At a wedding, it’s when the bride walks down the aisle. At a birth it’s when the baby is finally earth side and takes their first breath.

At a graduation, it’s when the class realizes it’s actually over. They did it.

To be apart of such moments gives me chills and fills my heart with so much joy and passion. To get to make this my place of work, to celebrate and be invited into such intimate moments does not go unnoticed.

This truly is the best job ever!

2.5 weeks in upper peninsula MI was exactly what this heart needed! Family time, pit stops at spaces I grew up loving, teaching photo classes to both high school and elementary schoolers at a local school, visiting as many beaches and parks as we could (even in our winter gear sometimes), senior sessions, graduations for bigs and littles, headshots, and more laughter than this heart knew what to do with.
