People are seeking more vegan food to save animals, benefit their health, and minimize their environmental footprint. Together, we:

• celebrated the contributions of disabled vegans to the animal rights movement
• raised awareness about the connections between ableism and speciesism
• advanced disability rights within the animal rights movement

We would also like to thank our incredible speakers who made this event possible. Their insightful talks equipped us with crucial knowledge about the underexplored intersection of disability rights and animal liberation, in turn helping us overcome the oppressive forces of both ableism and speciesism.
