If your personal Bible study is constantly centered around winning theological debates, and that’s all, It won’t take long before you feel spiritually dry.
What does this mean?
The Bible clearly tells us to rightly divide the word, and it also tells us to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness—They aren’t mutually exclusive, but it gives us profound perspective.
When you enter your personal time with God, ask: “what does a ‘kingdom first’ mindset look like?” If you can learn to be aware of this question, your personal time will become more fruitful and you won’t get trapped in the cycle of more knowledge without presence.
Let’s do life together! Sometimes you just need to let loose and be with people you enjoy!
