Apprenticeships for America wrapped its third annual Apprenticeship Summit in Washington, D.C., and we were thrilled to see ICCB's Angela Gerberding, Director of Work-Based Learning, and Bonnie Moore, Lake Land College's Director, Center for Business & Industry, leading one of the workshops!
Their session, "Building a Thriving Apprenticeship Ecosystem: Illinois Community Colleges’ Journey and Collaborative Vision," was a huge hit and celebrated the incredible apprenticeship work happening across Illinois community colleges 🎉
AFA also shared a new report during the summit, with recommendations from the Business-led Apprenticeship Solutions Team (BLAST), a group of leading apprenticeship employers convened in partnership with IBM.
