Big Bruises Moto

Tonight is not her night... she was doing great on the first race, for the first lap, she got taken out by p3 in supermini. Then her new bike started acting up again. We swapped her out for her old bike, she didn't have time to adapt to the clutch, and she didn't have a hole shot device so she was having a hard time reaching. She got stuck on the gate, helped her get unstuck and got her back out there just in time for her fuel line to split and dump her fuel out. Its just one of those days or weeks, or months... Ascot isn't ready to see her ride yet.

Fuel line fixed, holeshot device on, and moto 2 is coming up. She too far behind to place but hopefully she can have some redemption.

She looks damn good out there for the short time she can get some seat time in.

We got 2 of my bikes going last night, we made plans to go to Kingsville to ride today. We started our way there and decided to head to gas mx instead due to the uncertainty in the weather. Then we decided to hit night races instead at Ascot park. So we're out at Ascot for the night, hoping for a good trouble free night and to finish a race. This is our first time here!

Mad didnt race today, she went out in practice and said there's something not right with her bike. It wasn't coming into power in powerband, and made a ticking noise in powerband. Ultimately I didn't have time to tear the motor down and do a complete rebuild on this one, just a top end. I stayed up till 3am doing a rebuild on one of her other motors but just couldn't get it done and on the bike in time. We decided to sit this one out, the cost of another motor wasn't worth it. I will be working on 3 complete rebuilds next week and having her ready for the next one, with a backup bike or two.

Shes a little bummed, she was looking forward to just playing in the mud more than racing I think, its a mudder here today.

We made it to 4-State Moto Complex! Im pitted with Ozarks Powersports. We just got one of my bikes together in time to make it. Currently running heat cycles on it.

Its race day!

Happy mothers day to mom! She did exactly what she would do every other day, being the best mom ever. We spent the day in the hotel parking lot tearing down bikes, fixing suspension and diagnosing why the new bike blew up (top end is trashed, piston and cylinder 😒). She has stepped up so much on the moto side the last few months now that dad is back traveling for work. Traveling as a single moto parent to races, swapping tires and tubes, suspension, and still being the most supportive and caring mom imaginable. Love you mom! Thanks for everything you do for us and all the other track family🥰.
