“Blind hog and who?”
The Blind Hog retired from teaching in 2004 only to land in a 24/7 job as “farm laborer” in pert-near the Mean Population Center of the United States. Blind Hog will say that Acorn is the “farm manager” who comes up with all the (great) projects, including the latest venture - PODCASTS.
Making a podcast and sharing stories about the farm seemed like the perfect thing for Acorn to get into. With a background in art, biology, education, nursing, midwifery and all kinds of cooking- Acorn really loves to teach, work with livestock, get hands dirty, and then slice up some sourdough bread and slap on a wedge of cheese- all made here. Chase that down with a pint of homemade ale, while we are at it.
We hope you will learn something new about what it is like to live in a rural area, taking care of livestock, gardening, baking, canning and so much more. It is all good here. Living life to the fullest, as best we can; #enthusiast as Anthony Bourdain would say...
