We spend so much time trying to pull weeds, but sometimes you just have to admire their hustle. 🥊.
The thistle is prickly, stubborn, and refuses to stay in its lane—but it’s also vibrant, resilient, and serves a huge purpose for this little guy. 🐝
It reminded me so much of the “messy middle” of our own lives. The seasons where things feel a little sharp, stubborn, or chaotic are usually the exact moments where we are growing, overcoming, and feeding our purpose.
There is so much beauty in the parts of our story we try to edit out.

The ocean is calling! Looking forward to some sunrise landscape shooting this summer. First stop is NYC, then Boston with our country’s 250th celebration, then wrapping up in Grayton Beach.

Districts are underway! Best of luck to the players and coaches.
It was such a blessing to be asked to capture Katie during her final days of high school. As a photographer, you occasionally meet someone whose presence is just effortless. Her eyes carry a quiet confidence, a spark, and an authenticity that is rare to find.
It’s clear she has a firm sense of who she is, and that strength will serve her well as she steps into her next chapter at Missouri State. I’m so excited to see the road ahead for this MSU Bear!
Happy Graduation Day to Katie & Ellie! May the years ahead be blessed and filled with many more friendship moments.
