I really want to get on here with some good news or a satire comedy video to make the people who have continued to show me respect through this nightmare storm of my life laugh, while also keeping you all up to date. But life clearly has a different idea.

Fan fu***ng tastic!

When I got jumped and shoved to the ground, I landed hard on my left side, which is exactly where my implant and the electrical lead to my sacral nerve are located. The same implant that is supposed to help me urinate.

According to the surgeon yesterday, my finger was so shattered that there may still be a loose piece of bone in there or something that he’s hoping will heal correctly. If it doesn’t, I may need another hand reconstruction in a couple weeks. I was still loopy as hell, so I’ll find out for sure in a week or two. And now I may need another fu***ng implant surgery to fix that too.

Also, if you have an issue with me posting updates like this, I genuinely don’t want you as a follower. If I’m nothing more than a dancing clown who is only worth following when I’m making you laugh, that’s fine by me. I truly don’t give a f**k. But I also don’t want to associate with heartless people who lose all respect for someone the second they’re going through hell instead of entertaining them.

Knocked down, not destroyed. But damn, life is really putting that to the test right now.

We are on our way home, he is pretty out of it

Brandon is out of surgery!
I just spoke with the surgeon, and overall the surgery went well.
The surgeon had to take a large piece of bone from Brandon's wrist and use it to repair his finger, securing everything with screws. During surgery, they also confirmed that the crack in his finger was worse than it appeared on the X-rays. The doctor had been hoping it wasn't as extensive, but once he was able to see it directly, he found it was looser than expected.
At this time, the surgeon decided not to remove that area because of the surrounding cartilage. Instead, we're taking a wait-and-see approach and hoping it heals properly without causing future problems.
Brandon will begin physical therapy in about a week to start working on his finger. He'll also have follow-up X-rays to closely monitor the healing. If the crack heals well, no further surgery should be needed. If it doesn't, there's a possibility another procedure could be necessary down the road, but we're praying that won't be the case.
Right now, I am just waiting for them to call me back so I can finally see him. Once I get Brandon home and settled in, we'll post another update.

Update on Brandon

They have officially taken Brandon back for surgery. Before they started, they gave him a nerve block in his left shoulder, so his entire arm and hand will be numb for the next 18 hours. The surgery is expected to take about an hour and a half.

The surgeon explained that they have to remove a piece of bone from Brandon's left wrist and use it to rebuild his finger, securing it with screws. The reason for this is heartbreaking the impact from being pushed down onto the rocks shattered the bone in his finger so severely that it essentially exploded, leaving nothing left to repair.

Please keep Brandon in your thoughts and prayers as the surgeons work. We're hoping for a successful surgery and the best possible outcome. Thank you all for your continued love, support, and prayers. ❤️🙏

Life’s just dandy. I have an attorney I can’t fu***ng afford because I can’t work, and now GiveSendGo is giving me the runaround. I gave them my attorney’s email to see if they can sort it out. BUT the fundraiser was meant to help me survive while I’m going through all of this. It wasn’t strictly for an attorney, and I explicitly stated that from the beginning until they made me change it. So I unpublished it.

Then, to top it all off, I finally saw the surgeon yesterday. She was flabbergasted that the doctor who saw me the day of the incident completely misdiagnosed my finger. He told me nothing was wrong with it, but it was actually broken and dislocated. Not only that, but the original hospital Xrrays have somehow disappeared. My primary care doctor couldn’t find them, and now the surgeon says they’re gone too.

Had the first doctor actually caught this that day, the surgeon said it would have been a simple fix put it back in place and splint or cast it.

Instead, I get to go into surgery today to have part of my wrist bone removed and put into my finger. My hand will be permanently deformed, and I’ll never have the same grip strength again.

Every fu***ng way I turn, I’m getting f**ked.

I’m never defeated, but I’m definitely beaten down right now. I’m stressed as hell about surgery today because my implant isn’t working whatsoever, and combined with the anxiety and stress of everything else, it makes for a living nightmare, let me tell ya.

I don’t really know what else to say right now, comrades. I’m tired.
