CASA volunteers are often described as "the glue" in a complicated child welfare system.

They gather information, monitor progress, advocate for services, keep the court informed, and most importantly, provide a consistent presence for children navigating difficult circumstances.

Did you know the first step to becoming a CASA advocate is filling out a simple online application?

CASA volunteers come from all walks of life and professional backgrounds. Whether you're a teacher, retiree, business owner, healthcare worker, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, we provide all the training and support you need to be successful.

Before being sworn in as a CASA advocate, you'll complete 30 hours of training covering courtroom procedures, social services, the juvenile justice system, and the needs of children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

What we need most isn't a specific degree or career background. We need compassionate people who are willing to stand up for a child's best interests.
