Everything in our lives comes with a price, but something - Oh, yes, something, made you believe in it enough to make the transaction. Let's talk about it!

You're not as good as them... They're not as good as you...

Our lanes are side by side, so that we can walk together,
but please remember that these lanes are parallel and not merged.

We're not running the same race and
since I'm the only one in my lane -
the only person that I'm up against is me, myself, and I.

The only time that I need to look up and over is when we're celebrating wins, speaking words of correction, giving encouragement, mourning losses together, or it's time to pray.

Past that, I'm only in competition with myself.
Can I give the best of what I have on today?

Scripture used Romans 12:3-6 AMP

Quote: We must continue the act of forgiving until the offense is forgiven.

Sometimes, forgiving is instant and sometimes, it's not.
It's the measure or weight of the offense that determines how much work is required for us to forgive fully.

Keyword being FULLY.

So, when the offense is great and is requiring you to go through the process of forgiveness - are you suppressing your emotions or being intentional with how you're handling yourself while taking the opportunity to forgive each time that old hurt pops up? It's ok to be honest with yourself and say that it still hurts - so, long as you're committed to doing the work.

Otherwise, that residue is going to continue to come up because of your unfinished business.
