What does an emerging professional portfolio look like? How do you maintain your portfolio in your early career? What should your resume and portfolio look like when you have professional experience to showcase but are still relying on your academic work to showcase your skillsets?
Join us for an early-mid career resume/portfolio workshop to get feedback from past YAFSTL leaders, see your peers work, or just ask questions and hang out. Bringing copies of your materials or a laptop / tablet is encouraged, but not necessary to attend.
This event is sponsored by and will be hosted at Mackey Mitchell Architects office in the Cupples 9 warehouse building downtown on February 24th from 5:30-7:00pm. Drinks and snacks will be provided by MMA. Registration Link on Story!

The YAFSTL Crew had a fantastic time on the Fox Theatre Architectural Tour today!
The Fox Theatre staff was incredibly informative, sharing fascinating behind the scenes stories and insights into the building’s unique design. Many of us were captivated by the intricate decorative motifs, which blend elements from multiple cultures, including Serbian and Egyptian. The design was inspired by the client’s request for the architect to create a theatre unlike anything else in the U.S.
This eclectic mix resulted in a stunning interior filled with St. Louis fleur-de-lis, American eagles, butterflies, playing cards, and even elephants—all reflecting the client’s passions and the city’s character.
Special thanks to our generous sponsors, Lighting Associates and FGM Architects, for making both the tour and the networking happy hour afterward free for all attendees!
