In every Mercy facility, you can find our Mission statement on the wall. What does "mission" mean, anyway?

In these images from the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, we see disciples gifted with the Holy Spirit at Pentecost as they were sent to all the people of the world. We also see a Sister of Mercy sent to St. Louis, serving alongside other sisters, to found ministries of healing and education.
We are so blessed to be sent to serve the communities that need it most.

Most people don’t realize what hospice actually looks like until they need it. We believe it’s the small, human things that matter most — being there with compassion, honoring the dignity of the patient and helping families find comfort in those tender and difficult moments.
