"The Snack Pack of the Midwest"
Appropriately nicknamed “The Snack Pack of the Midwest”, HoopsieDee, or Dee for short, is a St. Louis based hoop dance and burlesque/variety performer whose cute and rowdy acts are nothing but crowd-pleasers!
Internationally sponsored by Afro Hippie Hoops (Based in Marseille, France), Dee continues her international work as the Co-organizer of Hoop De Mars; A non-profit based in Marseille, France, whose goal is to promote sports disciplines called Hoop Dance and Hoop Fitness in an environment where practitioners can learn the different techniques. In particular, by offering young neighborhoods the tools of fulfillment, the Association wants to bring hope, self-respect, discipline, and respect for others
Also an advocate for strengthening the communities in which you exist, she relentlessly fights for the representation of women of color and black people across the globe, the rights of sexual assault survivors, and for mental health awareness, having dealt with these specific things in her own personal life.
Her eccentric, playful signature cosplay ’Captain Merkuh’ act is a foxy, classic rock throwback “hoop-tease” sure to leave you begging for an encore.
