Creativity presents itself in so many ways.

My closet is organized by color and the palette changes monthly. It’s a fun ritual I have with myself to refresh my perspective and to take some time for myself.

I often find shapes of clothing I like at the thrift, but in the wrong color- so I hand dye them with RIT dye.

In the kitchen, I’ve attached little hand-strung beaded doodads to the light fixtures so they resemble chandeliers. They are silly but they make me smile.

Hand tied paracord plant hangers can be found hanging from the windows in almost every room.

My fashion sense could probably be better. Sometimes the dye doesn’t come out how I was expecting it to. Some people would scoff at my sparkly doodads and my cat’s-cradle plant hangers.

Being creative isn’t something we are “good” at or “bad” at.

It’s being open to curiosity, trusting your gut, and allowing mistakes to be made as we learn new skills that feed our basic human desire to make something out of nothing - to shift our world in a tangible way.

When you look around your space, what non-traditional ways does your creativity show up? Maybe you’re proud of the interior design of your spaces. Maybe you crochet or knit or embroider. Maybe you like adult coloring books or beading jewelry.

You asked, and I've been working HARD to deliver! I currently have SEVEN classes available across THREE states. Winter is prime painting season for me. As many of you know, I spend the Summer traveling the country competing in frisbee with my dogs. I'll continue adding dates all year long, but the next one could be on the other side of the country.
