Over the weekend, a group we call Biz Witches gathered for a retreat.

Most of us met each other at a vacation back in 2018 and we quickly realized we had a special group of life long friends.

In 2019 we had our first retreat together which solidified our bond. We intended to do this annually, but of course, the pandemic came along and changed our plans.

After 3 years apart, we finally got back together. It felt like old times while also rediscovering each other. We had all grown so much!

I’m grateful for every one of these humans (plus - we missed you so much!)!

Without them, I don’t know that I would feel so supported in my entrepreneurial journey. Without them, I don’t know that I would be able to stay true to my grounded approach to spirituality.

Thank you Biz Witches for being in my life, for reminding me of my magic, for calling me into greater forms of integrity, and for being fu***ng cool humans.

Finally, big thanks to for bringing us together. You have changed our lives for the better.

Food for thought. I’ve definitely been there - throwing “around” all around 😂

But if you want to:

1. Be seen as an expert or authority
2. Create deeper trust with your clients and/or audience
3. Hold down a strong space for your client to transform

You gotta break the habit of saying “around” when you really mean a precise word like “on” or “in”.

Who are you helping by being indirect? The client? Yourself?

If being indirect in your speech is vital for your work and begets results for your clients…then completely disregard this post.

But if your work is suffering, your clients aren’t getting results, or you’re not even attracting clients…consider your directness.
