One of the hardest things for me to convey to people new to The Work is that we don't have to let go of our painful thoughts. Something magical happens when we question our thoughts. I am taken to a place of freedom where I couldn't have thought myself into. If I was able to think myself into peace, I would have done it already. But when I question my thoughts, freedom and peace just happen. It is truly amazing.

Have you heard that I am now a psychotherapist?

I have been facilitating The Work of Byron Katie for over 20 years. During that time, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside many individuals as they faced a wide range of human suffering. Again and again, I’ve been struck by how powerful and effective The Work can be in relieving pain—watching tears of distress transform into tears of laughter is something I never tire of witnessing.

My experience as a facilitator is what ultimately led me to pursue a career as a mental health counselor. Today, in my psychotherapy practice, I integrate The Work with other therapeutic approaches (like EMDR for trauma) to support my clients in finding freedom from suffering and a deeper sense of inner peace.

For those seeking more comprehensive support in addition to The Work, reach out to me. Visit my website for contact information and to learn more about my psychotherapy practice:
