10 Years....
Today marks 10 years since I jumped out of my comfort zone and into DJing. It has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life! I've got to work with some of my DJ heroes, some talented artists and musicians, and some lifelong friends along the journey.
My first DJ gig was the First Friday Art Walk in 2016 at
It was packed and I am nervous AF!!! I think I played for 30 minutes and I was waiting for the next DJ to come and save me! 😅 So the next DJ comes in - none other than - and I wave for him to take over. He goes, "Naw, you got it, bro!". In my head I going, "Oh no I don't!". 🤣🤣🤣 But by that March, I met Just Rich at the March Art Walk. He needed a DJ for his open mic poetry show, Lyrical Therapy and ask if I could do it. I agreed and the rest is history.
Let me give my thanks to a few folks... First off shout out to .o.sadiq for encouraging me for 10 years before to start DJing and giving my my first shot. Shout out to my fam for the love and support and for giving me the training ground to practice my craft. Shout out to for bringing me into the Soulition crew. It was a surreal moment to have one of your DJ idols give you the nod of approval. Shout out to and for giving me a chance at the radio world. They are true legends in game! Last but not least, Shout out the my fam! We are not just a DJ crew, we are brothers for life!
I ain't done yet! I continue on this DJ journey, loving every minute of it. Let's see where else it will take me....

I had a great New Years Eve! I usually stay in and chill during New Years, but when I got the call to DJ with my brothers and I couldn't pass it up. One thing 2024 taught me, take in every moment because tomorrow is not promised. I'm blessed to have good people in my life and I thank God for all of them!
