Before Parachute Concerts, we were Midnite Society, and we had the honor to present across the Northeast. The first show we did was in Rochester, NY . It sold over 4000 tickets in 5 days. The show almost didn’t happen. With nearly 5,000 hyped up fans growing anxious for the opening DJ to end (pressed with 12:00 am mandatory curfew); at around 9:30 pm, we received a call from management that Tim’s hotel room had been burglarized. Among the many items taken, his USB thumb drives containing the music for the performance. With a miracle’s doing, he was able to put together a soundtrack for the show on a new set of USB’s and we raced him over to the venue. This video captures the palpable energy felt on that historic night.
We never looked back, going to Umass (), , Bridgeport, Philly, and Binghamton. These shows are the foundation for what we are today, and we’ll forever be grateful.
