Throughout the build process, we never lost sight of the goal - to create a new home that felt grounding, calm, and connected to the natural world.
We layered natural finishes, like oiled walnut, with tactile surfaces like concrete, to balance durability and warmth. From the material palette to the floor plan, every element was chosen with intention. In the en-suite bath, the result is a space that feels like a sanctuary after long weeks of business travel.
At The Freshmaker, we believe your home should support the way you live. Sometimes the road to get there is long, but we always shepherd our clients with ease, warmth, and a dash of humor. Design should be fun, and we want you to feel supported throughout the process, not burnt out by it.

As an interior design professional, I see this far too often…
Second residences that look like carbon copies of the primary home. Most primary residences are designed for performance. They support busy schedules, entertaining, transitions, and family functions. They are meant to work hard and look composed doing it. A second home, in contrast, can live by a different set of rules and support the person you want to be when you are removed from the daily grind.
